1. The Girl Who Played With Fire Stieg Larsson
2. The Magicians Lev Grossman
3. Gargoyle Andrew Davidson
Common characteristics: Unusual protaganists and plots. Strong secondary characters. Brillant dialogue and descriptions. Witty. Suspensful. Poignant.
Had trouble putting all three down. Real life can be so annoying.
It’s been a great ride.

Have you read Zeitoun by Dave Eggers yet? It is shameful, but should be required reading for kids in our high schools.
I've almost finished The Help, and found that it really pulled me in…also a shameful time on our country's history.
I must be on some kind of a kick…need something upbeat and positive for a change.
